CO-CHAIR

Hi! I’m Cassidy Miller (she/her), a third year Biopsychology major with minors in Applied Psychology and Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. I am so excited to be serving as one of PMHC’s Co-Chairs this year! While I don’t have a favorite project that our commission puts on, I have been heavily involved in the Mental Health Conference and Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFA) Program in previous years. In the public health realm, I am very excited about continuing our partnership with the Alcohol and Drug program to promote harm reduction on campus. 🙂

Hi! My name is Marina Raynaud, I use she/her pronouns, and I’m a third year Sociology major with an Applied Psychology minor. I’m from Mountain View, California, and I’m one of the PMHC Co-Chair’s this year! I’m eager to work with our incredible PMHC Executive Board to create a welcoming community and support UCSB students in gaining valuable mental and public health knowledge. I’m also looking forward to creating exciting events and programs surrounding public and mental health that the UCSB community can benefit from.

SECRETARY

Hi friends! My name is Isabella (she/her) and I am a third-year Feminist Studies and Sociology double major. This is my second year in PMHC and my second year serving as the Secretary. I am beyond excited to see what the commission will get up to this school year. I am most looking forward to helping PMHC organize craft events to mediate stress that students experience!

My name is Michelle Le and I am a fourth year Sociology major. I use she/her pronouns. I am the Events Director for PMHC and I am looking forward to having more collaborations and meeting new people with our events!

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Hiii everyone! My name is Ray Hernandez (they/them) and I’m PMHC’s Marketing Director! I’m a third-year Psych and Brain Sciences major with a minor in Applied Psychology and I’m very excited to be on the team! One thing I’m looking forward to for the new academic year is meeting new people to join the PMHC team!

CONFERENCE COORDINATOR

Hi everyone! My name is Chiamaka Utom (she/her). I’m a Psychological and Brain Sciences & Communications double major with an Applied Psychology minor. I’m so excited to be this year’s PMHC Conference Coordinator. I’m looking forward to being a part of a team putting on a really special conference and offering tons of resources for UCSB students along the way. I’m also looking forward to learning new ways I can help provide aid and raise awareness about mental health on campus! 🙂

SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR

Hey! I’m Maia Richards (she/her) and I’m a second-year Psych and Brain Sciences and Anthropology major. I will be working as the Special Projects Coordinator for PMHC this year, and am super excited to be more involved in the organization! I’m looking forward to making progress on ongoing projects that will benefit our campus, as well as bringing some new ideas. I’m very passionate about mental health and have experience advocating for it, but I’m excited to work on the public health side of things as well!

INTERNATIONAL LIAISON

Hi hi! My name is Anika Park, the international liaison of PMHC for this upcoming 2023-2024 school year! I am also a fifth-year PBS major and an international student from Seoul, South Korea. I’m looking forward to helping students at UCSB on practicing self-care as well as providing more resources. As the international liaison, I want to help many international students, like myself, to find the right resources on and off campus for their physical and mental health.

QTPOC + NON-TRADITIONAL REPRESENTATIVE

Hey my name is Cassie Cruz (she/her) and I am a 3rd year biology major and applied psychology minor! I am super excited be the QTPOC + Non-Traditional Representative at PMHC 🙂 I am looking forward to holding some arts and crafts events this year and getting to know more members of the community!

FINANCIAL COORDINATOR

Hi! I’m Belle David (she/her) and PMHC’s Financial Coordinator! I am a third-year pursuing a double major in Economics & Accounting and Psychology. When I’m not studying, you’ll find me napping on the beach, swimming at the beach, eating on the beach… I’m pretty much always on my way to Devs. This organization is an integral part of our UCSB community; we cultivate an environment where all students feel welcome and also provide them with important public and mental health resources. Hey everyone! My name is Shahir (he/him/his) and I am a fourth-year Biochemistry major, and I am serving as PMHC’s Peer Program Director. I look forward to hosting events to help students on campus, as well as meeting new people to join the PMHC team!
